This postdoc position is part of Postdoctoral Programme for Research Institutes in Finland. The programme is funded from the Finnish government's multi-annual research and development (R&D) funding plan. The programme recruits 85 new postdoctoral researchers to 12 Finnish government research institutes between 2025 and 2028. The main duty and key responsibility of the Researcher Scientist, postdoc, is to publish data of crop rotation, pre- and catch-crop and intercropping studies together with Luke’s crop scientist. The research will be carried out in collaboration with crop scientist and stakeholders. The work also includes participation in funding applications and in field trial activities (observations, measurements, phenotyping) of on-going research projects.

The nature of the task requires willingness to collaborate with other scientist, courage to present one’s own ideas and views and readiness to work in the field and greenhouse. In this task, you have a chance to work together with key crop scientist and gain experience on publishing, experimental research and applying research funding.
