In accordance with § 94 Sec. 2 subpara. 1 of the Austrian Universities Act, the Faculty of Engineering & Natural Sciences (TN) at the Johannes Kepler University Linz announces a tenured faculty opening for a University Professor for Metal Technology Production (Metalworking)

The Faculty of Engineering & Natural Sciences at the Johannes Kepler University Linz invites applications for a professorship position under private law for a 

Professor for Manufacturing Technologies – Metals (Metal Processing)

to begin immediately. The appointment is in accordance with § 98 of the Austrian Universities Act. A faculty performance review will be conducted after a 5 year period.

The new professor in the area of Mechatronics is expected to contribute to further developing the academic degree program(s) in Mechanical Engineering.

Applicants for the position must have a habilitation degree (venia docendi) or an equivalent post-doctorate qualification in the field of manufacturing technologies – metals (metal processing).

An annual gross salary above the minimum amount of € 92,460.20 as stated in the collective agreement will be offered.
