Research line: Gastruloids, an in vitro approach to the emergence of the mammalian body plan.


Job description:

  • The researcher will culture diferent stem cell lines and make gastruloids from them.
  • Perform analysis of chimeras between diferent cell lines, either grown in diferent culture conditions or between wild type and certain mutants.
  • Analyze the gastruloids resulting from the experiments in terms of gene expression, though mRNAseq or Hybridization Chain Reaction.
  • Assses the spatial paterns of expression in the confocal microscopi.
  • Process and analyze the data.
  • Write reports from the experiments.
  • Write manuscrit for publication.
