Internationally recognized generalist engineering school of the IMT (Institut Mines-Télécom), a leading French engineering school (Technological University), IMT Atlantique aims to support transitions, train responsible engineers, and use scientific excellence to serve teaching, research, and innovation.


As part of the ANR XtremLoc project, which aims to develop a complete navigation system for locating small joints, we are recruiting a post-doctoral fellow in our Data Science Department (DSD).


Under the supervision of Valérie BURDIN (Professor - IMT Atlantique/LaTIM), in collaboration with Guillaume DARDENNE (INSERM Researcher). You will develop an automatic segmentation method for the different bones of the carpus and metacarpus. You will build a 3D statistical model of the first metacarpal and the trapezoid to obtain a personalized patient model optimizing the planning of a thumb prosthesis.
