IMDEA Energy is opening a Postdoctoral Researcher Position for the Systems Analysis Unit, looking for talented and motivated candidates to work in life cycle assessment of batteries-based energy systems and other energy systems.

The new researcher will join the research team of the Systems Analysis Unit aimed at life cycle assessment of energy and energy-related processes and systems. The new researcher will be in charge of:


Tasks Description:

  • Life cycle assessment of batteries based and energy systems using a multicriteria analysis, taking into account criticality assessment, life cycle costing, techno-economics assessments, eco-efficiency assessment and providing inputs for eco-design.
  • Definition of supply chains and criticality assessment of the materials used in the manufacturing of these systems.
  • Communicate and disseminate research results through high-quality scientific channels including high impact scientific publications, presentations in conferences, etc.
  • Supervision of Master or undergraduate studies.
