to begin immediately. The appointment is in accordance with § 98 of the Austrian Universities Act. An evaluation will be conducted after a five-year period.

We are seeking a visionary academic with a distinguished track record in the field of Polymer Product Engineering. The ideal candidate will possess internationally recognized engineering expertise in the development, design, and manufacturing of polymer products, with a particular focus on experimental mechanics, component testing, as well as numerical simulation and modeling.

The successful candidate is expected to represent and further develop the field of Polymer Product Engineering in research and teaching. Applicants for the position must have a venia docendi (habilitation degree) or a comparable post-doctorate qualification in the academic field. A salary above the minimum amount (which is currently 92.460,20 € before taxes) as stated in the collective agreement will be voluntarily offered.
