Job Description
• The assistant professor will be responsible for supplementing Włodzimierz Borodziej’s bibliography, in particular with popular science and journalistic articles, reviews and other media texts;
• collecting these texts for later publication, subject to copyright restrictions;
• collecting professional documents made available by institutions with which Borodziej was associated;
• cooperating with the Deutsches Polen Institut in Darmstadt to increase the visibility of the project;
• domestic and international queries;
• participation in the conceptualisation of project activities and open meetings;
• reporting progress to project managers;
• preparing research reports that can be converted into articles or conference papers;
• participating in regular team meetings (online).

Qualifications
• PhD in history (or a related field); or be in the process of defending a doctoral thesis;
• Specialisation in the history of historiography, the history of ideas, historical politics and discourse analysis;
• Ability to work in a team;
• experience in communicating research results, preferably co-authorship of scientific volumes / articles in English (publications in international journals and renowned publishing houses will be an advantage);
• consent to be included in the number of employees conducting scientific activity during the period of employment, i.e. in the number N for the purposes of the algorithm for the distribution of basic grant funds for statutory activities.

2. Curriculum vitae with contact details (email address, phone number);
3. Copy or copies of diplomas;
4. Information on scientific achievements with bibliography;
5. Candidate’s declaration that, if employed, the Institute of History of the PAS will be their primary workplace and that the candidate will submit a statement authorizing the Institute of History of the PAS to include them in the number of employees conducting scientific activities in the discipline of history (so-called N-number statement);
6. Consent for the processing of the candidate’s personal data for the purposes of the competition
