Mission:

Analyze solid transport in rivers in the presence of vegetation and its application to navigability.


Functions to be developed:

  • • Collaborate with the studio director.
  • • Collect field data, especially vegetation.
  • • Perform hydrodynamic analysis using models.


Skills / Qualifications

Technical Skills:

  • • 2D hydrodynamic models.
  • • Geographic information systems.
  • • Field data analysis tools: Level and Flow.

Specific Requirements

Knowledge:

  • • Vegetation flow resistance.
  • • Solid bottom transport of sands and gravels.

Professional Experience:

  • • In research and application on rivers similar to the application case, such as the Llobregat River.
  • • Experience in functions similar to those described will be valued, specifically in the development of research activities, both in the university and industrial environment.
