Skills/Qualifications

• • Doctoral degree obtained:
• - in the discipline of medical sciences, chemical, pharmaceutical, biological or related sciences,
• • in the year of employment in the project or in the period of 7 years before January 1 of the year of employment in the project (for those who have obtained more than one doctoral degree, the period is counted from the date of obtaining the first one)
• - This period may be extended by the time of staying in this period on long-term (over 90 days) documented sickness benefits or rehabilitation benefits due to incapacity for work. In addition to this period, one can add the number of months of stay on leaves related to the care and upbringing of children, granted on the terms set out in the Labor Code, and in the case of women - 18 months for each born or adopted child, if this method of indicating breaks in the academic career is more favorable,
• - in an entity other than the entity in which employment in this position is planned or completed at least a 10-month, continuous, evidenced postdoctoral fellowship in an entity other than the project provider and in a country other than the country in which the doctoral degree was obtained.
• • A person who does not have a doctoral degree may enter the competition for a post-doc position, but who will meet this condition when starting work in the project.
• • Scientific achievements documented by publications in journals from the JCR list.
• • Fluency in spoken and written English.

Specific Requirements

• • Practical experience in working with liquid chromatography in combination with mass spectrometry.
• • Practical experience in working with quadrupole-type mass analyzers - time-of-flight (Q / TOF) and / or Orbitrap.
• • Practical experience in methods of extracting analytes from food and other biological samples.
• • Knowledge of mass spectrometry and spectrometric data analysis software - Mass Hunter Acquisition, Mass Hunter Qualitative, Spectrum Mill, Mass Profiler Professional, Protein Metrics, Proteome Discoverer, Compound Discoverer, Simca.
• • Experience in proteomic analyzes, identification of proteins and their post-translational or chemical modifications.
• • Good knowledge of analytical methods (HPLC, UV/Vis, LC/MS) and sample preparation techniques.

Benefits

• • Full-time employment contract.
• • Planned date of employment: from February/March, 2026 (to be agreed with the candidate) for a period of 6 months, with the possibility of extension for up to 43 months.
• • Remuneration: PLN 11,660 /month (gross).
