The selected candidate shall:

  • • Design and synthesise photoactive systems based on synthetic molecules.
  • • Characterise the structure and photophysical and photochemical properties of nanostructured assemblies using static and time-resolved spectroscopic techniques (including X-ray techniques).
  • • Support the supervision and leadership of laboratory students, the maintenance of the group's equipment, and the writing of articles related to the group's projects.


This contract is within the framework of the Project ESTUDYAMOS (Estructura electrónica y dinámica ultrarrápida en átomos, moléculas y sólidos fuera de equilibrio) (PID2022-137817NA-I00).

Skills/Qualifications

  • • Research Field: Molecular and Optical Physics, molecular chemistry.
  • • Education Level: PhD.
  • • Previous experience: 2 years of postdoctoral experience.

Specific Requirements

  • • Bachelor in bioengineering or similar.
  • • PhD in bioengineering, or in a related field.
  • • Good English level, both written and spoken.
  • • Team working skills.
