Skills/Qualifications

• • Any national, foreigner and stateless candidate(s) holding a PhD degree in Bioengineering, Biotechnology or similar areas.
• • 5 years of experience in molecular biology for the expression in mammalian cells.
• • 5 years of experience in animal cell culture.
• • Fluency in English (written and spoken).

Specific Requirements

• • 5 years of experience in viral vectors for gene therapy.
• • Experience in adeno-associated virus (AAV) vectors genome and capsid engineering.
• • Experience in AAV vector transduction and titration assays.
• • Experience in the development of dual AAV vectors.
• • Experience in flow cytometry, fluorescence microscopy, PCR, Western Blot, and ELISA methodologies.

Benefits

• Contract category and applicable legislation:
• A work contract will be established under the terms of the Portuguese Labour Code, for individuals holding a Doctoral Degree, corresponding to Level 33 of the single remuneration table (TRU), in accordance with Decree-Law no. 11-A /2017, of December 29. The contract is expected to take effect within a maximum period of 120 days after the deadline for application submissions. The employment contract will be fixed term without defined duration (under article 18 and paragraph b) and paragraphs 1 and 3 of article 6, of D.L. no. 57/2016, of August 29, amended by Law no. 57/2017, of July 19).
