Skills/Qualifications

• • Fulfilment of the requirements set out in Article 113 of the Law on Higher Education and Science (Journal of Laws of 2024, item 1571, consolidated text)
• • Specialisation in auxiliary sciences of medieval history and digital humanities
• • Doctorate degree
• • Academic achievements, as evidenced by publications and participation in academic conferences
• • Fluency in spoken and written English
• • Knowledge of Latin sufficient to teach medieval Latin
• • Teaching experience
• • International experience

Benefits

• • basic remuneration PLN 7100.00 gross/month plus the additional annual remuneration, allowance for years of service,
• • 36 days of paid holiday per year,
• • possibility of receiving a financial allowance for holiday leave and Christmas break each year

Eligibility criteria

Stage I

1. 1. Previous scientific activity (scientific publications, participation in scientific conferences) (0-30 points).
2. 2. Activity in research projects (0-15 points)
   • 1) management of research projects of the National Science Centre, National Programme for the Development of Humanities, Foundation for Polish Science or others (0-10 points);
   • 2) participation in projects as a contractor (0-5 points).
3. 3. Awarded prestigious scholarships (0-10 points).
4. 4. Teaching activity (0-10 points),
5. 5. Organizational activity (0-5 points),
6. 6. Other activities, e.g., popularization of knowledge (0-10 points),
7. 7. Research project (0-20 points),

(Total in stage I: 0-100 points).

Persons who have obtained at least 40 points in stage I may qualify for stage II.

The committee will evaluate the achievements taking into account the period in which they were obtained, including any breaks in scientific work caused, for example, by maternity leave.
