Social work in formal, non-formal and informal educational contexts is a centralcomponent of contemporary strategies for promoting educational equity, socialparticipation and sustainable educational success. In the school context in particular,social work makes a significant contribution to socially securing educational processes,supporting transitions, reducing disadvantages and creating inclusive learning anddevelopment conditions. At the same time, social work is effective in other educationalsettings such as daycare centres, family and community centres and youth clubs, whereit supports educational processes at an early stage, anchors them in the everyday worldand links them to family and social resources.

At the interface between education, child and youth welfare, and municipal structures,social work strengthens coherent educational biographies and makes a significantcontribution to the opening up and social expansion of educational institutions.

Your tasks
We are looking for a person with relevant expertise who can take on tasks in teaching, research and transfer in at least two of the following subject areas:

1. 1. Counselling, case management and casuistry with multi-professionalcooperation in educational and transitional situations (work at the interfaces ofschool, daycare, youth welfare and socio-spatial support settings)
2. 2. Professional relationship building, cooperation and de-escalation strategies ineducational institutions
3. 3. Educational equity, individual support, transition planning in individualeducational pathways, child- and family-oriented support strategies
4. 4. Peer learning, group, class and family projects and programmes
5. 5. Bridging functions between educational institutions, families, networks andneighbourhoods
6. 6. Participatory processes in formal educational contexts.
