The professorship deals with the educational processes, life situations and supportneeds of children, young people and families in the face of increasingly heterogeneousand digital living environments in which educational and developmental processes takeplace today.

Within the framework of the professorship, these living environments of children andfamilies are to be researched and theory-based and practical concepts for education,prevention and intervention are to be developed and communicated.

Your tasks

We are looking for a person who represents teaching, research and transfer in degreeprogrammes in childhood education and social work, with particular expertise in:

1. 1. Childhood and youth education
2. 2. Intervention, in particular counselling for children, families and educationalprofessionals, including in digital environments
3. 3. Networking and cooperation, e.g. between daycare centres, early interventionservices, youth welfare services, family centres and schools.

Expertise in at least two of the following areas is also desirable:

1. 1. Shaping transitions between family, daycare centres and school
2. 2. Diversity and social inequality in childhood and youth
3. 3. Childhood in the context of digital change, media ethics & education, digitalforms of family education & counselling
4. 4. Educational qualifications with regard to digitalisation.
