The centre’s research focuses on the molecular basis of rare neurological diseases in childhood as well as the management and therapy of the affected patients.

Your responsibilities

• • You will examine the molecular mechanisms of inherited neurological diseases in childhood.
• • You will investigate gene therapeutic lipid nanoparticles in cell culture models, brain slices and animal models.

Your profile

• • Degree in life sciences
• • Expertise in basic molecular biology, chromatographic techniques, mouse handling and breeding as well as cell biology applications, including fluorescence microscopy and flow cytometry.
• • You are a highly motivated and enthusiastic candidate, who is willing to supervise doctoral candidates and collaborate with other researchers.
