JUST-CIRCLE contributes to advancing the objectives of the European Circular Economy Action Plan by making sustainable products and services the norm, empowering consumers and public buyers through transparent and participatory approaches and demonstrating circularity in fundamental sectors for the economy.  By integrating sustainability accounting, lifecycle analysis, and socially responsive business model innovation, the project will directly support the CEAP’s ambitions to ensure less waste, enhance regional and urban circularity, and make circularity work for people as well as for economies. Thus, the general objective of Just- Circle is: JUST-CIRCLE’s general objective is to design, test, and validate integrated frameworks for sustainability accounting, lifecycle impact assessment, and responsible circular business-model innovation that enable industry and social-economy actors to meet EU Green Deal/CEAP targets while strengthening competitiveness and user uptake. More specifically, JUST CIRCLE researches business models that are socially inclusive, behaviour-aware, and financially sound, for business replication and policy making.

Specific conditions

1. 1. level of studies: higher education completed with a PhD;
2. 2. area of studies: economics/ business administration/ cybernetics and statistics/ economic informatics/ finance/ or similar fields;
3. 3. skills and abilities:
4. 4. linguistic adaptation and interpretation between two or more languages relevant for the parteners of the project; 

Mandatory requirement: the candidate must hold a PhD degree and have previous research experience. 

Measuring and Advancing Circular Business Models for a Fair and Sustainable Transition

Study evidence base data on circular business models, SME adoption, consumer engagement, behavioural uptake and stakeholder participation, via mixed- methods,  stakeholder-facing activities, case-based dissemination, and analytical work that supports project assessment, validation and impact.
