Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for a full-time, fixed term position as a Postdoctoral Researcher with the School of Engineering at the University of Galway, Ireland.


Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for a full-time, fixed-term contract position as a Postdoctoral Researcher with the Timber Engineering Research Group ( TERG) at University of Galway, Ireland.


This position is funded by the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine and is initially available from earliest possible commencement date to contract end date of 31st December 2025.


Salary: Postdoctoral Researcher salary scale €44,846 - €57,332 per annum, (subject to the project’s funding limitations), and pro rata for shorter and/or part-time contracts.


Closing date for receipt of applications is 17:00 (Irish Time) on 03rd March 2025. It will not be possible to consider applications received after the closing date. 


Interviews are planned to be held during the week of 18 March 2025.
