Specific Requirements

experience of the Franco-German context


This position is available as part of the franco-german ANR-DFG Sympasoli project which brings together Sorbonne Université and the European University Viadrina in Frankfurt an der Oder, and which focuses on the philosopher Max Scheler's work on the link between the phenomenology of sympathy and the idea of solidarity. 


The project is structured around six thematic priorities: Love, Life, Solidarity, Sociology, Nature, Sympathy. The recruited post-doctoral researcher will be particularly involved in the three themes that are led by the French team (nature, solidarity, sociology).


The main task of the post-doctoral researcher will be to coordinate the scientific programme (organisation of conferences and meetings related to the project) and to participate in it as an active contributor (writing articles, bibliographic work, exploring archive collections).
