We are seeking a postdoctoral researcher to analyse the corporate structures of oil, gas, and coal companies, including their parent firms and subsidiaries. The researcher will work with databases such as Rystad and the Global Coal Mine Tracker to assess stranded assets in relation to the targets set by the Paris Agreement. The assessment will integrate biological, social, economic, and equity-based criteria. Special attention will be given to cases involving social conflict and human rights abuses, using data from the Environmental Justice Atlas. The position involves the production of high-impact scientific publications and contributions to the broader research agenda on energy transition and ecological policy.
