Research fellow (m/f/d) in the field of Intensive Plant Food Systems limited for approx. 3 years - E 13 TV-L HU

Job description:

scientific service in teaching and research in the field of Intensive Plant Food Systems
supervision of climate chamber, greenhouse and field trials
phenotyping of plants
application and further development of dynamic simulation models for crop photosynthesis and yield formation
preparation of project reports and publications
tasks for personal scientific qualification (habilitation-equivalent achievements)

Requirements:

completed scientific university education and doctorate in agricultural, horticultural and plant sciences of related subjects or computer science, mathematics
in-depth knowledge of plant ecophysiology
proven experience in statistics, modelling and simulations
knowledge of genetics, plant breeding and GWAS is desirable
willingness to work in a team
strong communication skills and flexibility
