About the job:

IMol invites highly motivated scientists to apply for a three-year, fully-funded Postdoc position.

Using a bottom-up approach, you will have the chance to develop a conceptually new membrane-based nanomachine with far-reaching biomedical applications.

The position is funded by the First Team FENG programme under the Foundation for Polish Science (FNP), project number: FENG.02.02-IP.05-0191/24

Profile of candidates/requirements:

ㆍPh.D. in biology, biochemistry, biophysics, chemistry or related discipline

ㆍExcellent communication skills in English

ㆍPrevious experience in microfluidics, bottom-up synthetic biology, GUVs, liposomes and nanoparticles production/characterization is highly desirable

Key responsibilities:

ㆍPlanning, performing and analyzing experiments

ㆍPresenting results at internal and external meetings/conferences

ㆍPreparing manuscripts for publication in scientific journals

We offer:

ㆍFully funded, full-time position for 3 years

ㆍStarting date: July 1st, 2025 (or as soon as possible)

ㆍVery competitive salary: ca. 13.300 PLN gross/month (for comparison, Polish minimal salary is ca. 4.700 PLN gross/month and average salary is ca. 9.000 PLN gross/month)
