The postdoctoral researcher with a background in Theoretical and Computational Chemistry will work on photoactive materials composed of TiO2 and MXenes. First-principles calculations will be carried out to explore the ground properties of these composites. Non-adiabatic dynamics will be performed to investigate excitation energies and the non-adiabatic couplings between excited states. Will all this information, the lifetimes of excited states will be quantified and their connection with certain structural parameters will be analyzed. This will enable a rationalization of the excite-state mechanisms.


Gross annual salary: 30.000 €
