Introduction to the vacant position:

The Integrative Cell and Tissue Dynamics Group is looking for a Postdoctoral Researcher to study the mechanobiology of stem-cell systems. The contract will be within the framework of the study of engineering multicellular systems for modelling development and disease.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

• • Development of stem cell systems for mechanical studies
• • Measurements of forces and deformations
• • Data analysis

Requirements for candidates:

Essential:

• • PHD on any field on biology/biophysics/physics
• • Multidisciplinary qualifications (Physics/Math’s, Physics/Engineering, etc.) and knowledge on traction force microscopy and stretching devices.
• • Competencies and skills: Communication, Teamwork and collaboration, Commitment, Proactivity, Integrity, Critical and Analytical thinking.
• • High level of English

Advantageous:

• • Experience in mechanobiology and developmental biology.
