The announced position corresponds to the Assistant Professor (PAD: profesor ayudante doctor) in the area of Sociology, assigned to the Department of Psychology, Sociology and Social Work at the Faculty of Education Sciences. One position is offered (Competition No. 2506/9522; RPT Code: 1347757004).


The selected candidate will carry out teaching activities in subjects related to Sociology, specifically in the course Intervention in Gender Violence (Master’s Degree in Family, Social and Community Intervention and Mediation, code 51125) and Structure and Social Change (Bachelor's Degree in Social Education, code 43805).


Additionally, the candidate will be expected to integrate into the department’s research lines, specifically in Intersectionality and gender in populations in situations of special social vulnerability, promoting scientific output, participating in competitive research projects, and contributing to knowledge transfer. The position is classified under UNESCO code 6309.09.


The selection procedure will be carried out through a competitive process, in accordance with current regulations. ANECA accreditation is not required.


Skills/Qualifications

  • • Degree or Bachelor’s in Sociology.
  • • For Bachelor's degree holders, an Official University Master's degree in the field of Sociology is required.
  • • Plus a PhD in the field.
  • **Languages/level ***: Spanish (at least C1 *).
