Skills/Qualifications

• Good knowledge of:
• - The300 sims (The Three Hundred hydrodynamical simulation)
• - Disperse application on density field distributions (2D & 3D)
• - Galaxy clusters and cosmology
• - SZ (Sunyaev–Zeldovich) and X-ray cluster images treatment

Specific Requirements

• The aim of the project is to reconstruct the filamentary gas structures in the peripheral regions of galaxy clusters using the DisPerSE tracer, applied to Sunyaev–Zeldovich signal maps and X-ray emission maps produced within The Three Hundred hydrodynamical simulation.
• In this way, we investigate the impact of filaments on the properties and observables of the cluster.
