Position available within the research project entitled: “Committed to the responsible development of meat replacement products and practices: comparing multidimensional barriers and potentials in European countries (ComMEATted)”, project number ERANET-JPI-HDHL-ComMEATted

This is a part-time position for a Postdoctoral Researcher who will be involved in the following activities: Contributes to the design and refinement of interview guides and research instruments; Ensures methodological rigor and reproducibility of research procedures and outputs; Contributes to the development of a conceptual framework related to alternative sources of protein; Analyzes the legislation in the field; Oversees and ensures the accuracy of interview transcription (audio-text, using the software provided within the project) and translation into English; Participates in and/or organizes workshops and stakeholder meetings; Presents research results at international scientific conferences, workshops, and seminars; Creates materials for dissemination of research results (to the general public, academic audiences, policymakers, and other interested parties) according to the project needs; Maintains active collaboration with the members of the Romanian research team and with other consortium partners (email communication, participation in consortium meetings); Participates in project meetings, workshops, and contributes to project deliverables and reports.

Skills/Qualifications

Fluency in Romanian and English languages is compulsory. Work experience in interviews, organization of workshops, focus groups, qualitative research, qualitative data analysis, web page content creation, sales, customer relations/ public relations is an advantage. The work experience must be proved through documents.

Good internet and computer skills, including knowledge of a qualitative data analysis program (e.g., NVivo, Quirkos, VosViewer).

Eligibility criteria

Excelent knowledge (fluent) of the Romanian language; Very good knowledge of English language; Doctoral diploma; Work experience in at least one of the following activities: organization of workshops, focus groups, qualitative research interviews (online and onsite), qualitative/quantitative data analysis, web page content creation, sales, and customer relations/ public relations; Skills: selling and communication skills, planning skills, organizing activities, capacity to carry on advanced research; other skills: active learning, critical thinking, active listening, teamwork, creative thinking (ability to develop creative ways to resolve of a problem), the ability to evaluate alternatives and make decisions, the capacity for analytical thinking, adaptability, the capacity for innovation and creative thinking.
