The successful candidate will hold a doctoral degree (PhD) and demonstrate outstanding scientific achievements in the field of molecular biology or a related discipline. The position requires proven experience in obtaining, managing, and independently conducting research projects, including grant-funded initiatives.

The primary responsibilities of the position will include:

• • Designing, planning, and executing independent research projects in molecular biology.
• • Performing advanced laboratory work, including RNA extraction, cDNA synthesis, and gene expression analysis.
• • Developing, optimizing, and conducting PCR and quantitative real-time PCR (qPCR) protocols.
• • Analyzing and interpreting molecular data, particularly in the area of gene expression studies.
• • Ensuring precise execution of laboratory protocols and maintaining high standards of research quality and reproducibility.
• • Managing research documentation and contributing to scientific publications and project reports.
• • Conducting behavioral experiments on live honeybees, including controlled cage tests. (Candidates must not be allergic to bee venom.)

The role requires extensive theoretical knowledge and practical expertise in molecular biology laboratory techniques, as well as the ability to work independently in planning experiments and handling live organisms. The successful candidate will combine strong analytical skills with hands-on laboratory experience and a high level of scientific responsibility.
