We are seeking a highly motivated, early-career Postdoctoral Fellow to lead a transformative research project within the EP Permed Project BATMAN.

This initiative bridges two premier research units: CR2TI (specialists in immune régulation) and CRCI2NA (experts in B-cell malignancy vulnerabilities). The rôle offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of fondamental discovery and clinical translation, focusing on how transcriptional and epigenetic dysrégulation drives cancer survival and treatment résistance. While the normal B-cell development relies on précisé transcriptional control, its dysrégulation is a fundamental hallmark of malignancy. The candidate will investigate these mechanisms specifically within high-risk genetic contexts, such as p53 mutations or chromosomal translocations.

Key Objectives: Identify the epigenetic-driven dysregulations in molecular pathways used by cancer cells to bypass cell death régulation in lymphoma and myeloma. Characterise the interactome and transcriptome using advanced multi-omics (Proteomics and RNA-seq). Map chromatin accessibility and binding landscapes via CUT&RUN and ChlP-seq. Validate novel, selective small-molecule inhibitors to overcome therapy resistance. The susccesful candidate benefit from the joint supervision of Dr Sophie Brouard (CR2TI), Nataliya Yeremenko and Dr Catherine Pellat-Deceunynck (CRCI2NA), and have access to a seamless pipeline from lab-bench discovery to clinical application in a vibrant, cross-disciplinary ecosystem.

Required Qualifications: PhD in Cancer Biology, Immunology, , or Molecular Biology (obtained within the last 3 years). Advanced skills in cell culture and molecular biology Proficiency in protein analysis (Western Blotting, Flow Cytometry). Hands-on experience in NGS library préparation (RNA-seq, ChlPseq, or CUT&RUN) are desirable. Ability to collaborate effectively with bioinformaticians to interpret large-scale "omics" datasets. The candidate will decipher, with high-throughput technologies and classical cell biology, the molecular pathways involved in the response to oct2/BOBl inhibition in lymphoma and myeloma (cell lines and patient's samples, Refract-Lyma and Myracle cohorts, Nantes University Hospital, Hematology department). Salary : € 2.800 gross per month
