The centre’s research focuses on the molecular basis of rare neurological diseases in childhood as well as the management and therapy of the affected patients.

Your responsibilities

  • You will examine the molecular mechanisms of inherited neurological diseases in childhood.
  • You will investigate gene therapeutic lipid nanoparticles in cell culture models, brain slices and animal models.

Your profile

  • Degree in life sciences
  • Expertise in basic molecular biology, chromatographic techniques, mouse handling and breeding as well as cell biology applications, including fluorescence microscopy and flow cytometry.
  • You are a highly motivated and enthusiastic candidate, who is willing to supervise doctoral candidates and collaborate with other researchers.

Salary and social benefits comply with the local guidelines and the contract is for one year with the possibility of extension.
