The director of CEITEC, Brno University of Technology is opening a position of 

Junior Researcher in the Advanced Multifunctional Ceramics Research Group (R2)

CEITEC BUT has been part of this University since 2011. We have been a key part of a top research infrastructure with unique equipment and conditions for basic and applied research in the field of nanotechnologies, advanced materials, and cybernetics.

Job Description: 

• • Participation in scientific and research activities of the Advanced Multifunctional Ceramics Research Group.
• • Active involvement in the implementation of the GlaCerHub project, including collaboration with the FunGlass Centre at TnUAD Trenčín.
• • Active contribution to the preparation, writing, and publication of scientific papers and the dissemination of research results
• • Operation, setup, and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
• • Experimental data processing and analysis.

Requirements: 

The successful candidate must hold a Ph.D. degree in Materials Science, Materials Engineering, or a related field and should demonstrate:

• • Background in ceramics, glass, inorganic materials, surface engineering, or related areas.
• • Interest in experimental research and advanced material characterization.
• • Ability to prepare technical reports, scientific papers, and project documentation.
• • Experience with modern laboratory facilities and material processing technologies is an advantage.
• • Good communication and teamwork skills.
• • Self-motivation, initiative, reliability, and willingness to learn new techniques and approaches.
• • Very good command of written and spoken technical English.
