Job Summary/offer: The Clinical Centre for Population Medicine in Fish, Swine and Poultry is seeking to hire a post doc who will participate in running research projects and contribute to developing and writing scientific papers. The postdoc is also required to assist in teaching and perform administrative tasks, to supervise students and assist in the development of diploma thesis.

Main Research Field: Poultry Medicine

Applicants must hold a PhD in Veterinary Medicine, be a Diplomate of the European College of Poultry Veterinary Science, as well as a recognized researcher in poultry diseases as indicated by relevant publications. Previous teaching experience is an absolute requirement as well as experience in supervision of students. Very good knowledge of English (C1) and a driver’s licence are further required. Additional desirable qualifications include experience in avian virology, including in vivo- and in vitro models and sequencing techniques, experience with histopathological techniques incl. immunohistochemistry, ISH and RNAscope. Good team and communication skills, reliability and experience in project management are beneficial.
